Melinda MacDonald

Melinda MacDonald brings extensive HR experience to the team, having held her CHRP designation through the HRPA for 16 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Toronto and is also a Certified Practitioner for Everything DiSC.

Melinda has built her career as a trusted HR partner across the private school sector, most recently serving as the sole HR practitioner for two schools where she managed the full spectrum of HR functions. She is especially proud of establishing an HR department from the ground up for one school, creating programs and initiatives that strengthened employee engagement and supported organizational growth. Her work has included developing onboarding programs, job shadow initiatives, recruitment process improvements, and staff engagement events.

Outside of work, Melinda enjoys spending time with family, travelling, and exploring local trails with her dog, Isla. She is also actively involved with The Houses of Providence Long Term Care Home, serving on the Family Council and stepping into the role of Communications Lead in June.
