Sarah Wolters, Financial Analyst
Sarah graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Commerce and a minor in Economics. During her program, she explored various business courses in finance, marketing, operations, and human resources in the first two years, and then specialized in accounting during the final two years. Currently, she’s pursuing her CPA designation.
During her time in university, Sarah gained experience in accounting and administrative roles with different organizations. After graduating, she worked in public accounting, where she gained extensive experience in audit, review, and compilation engagements for not-for-profit and for-profit entities, as well as personal, corporate, and charity tax returns. Sarah also worked as a financial analyst in the healthcare industry, focusing on internal accounting processes and third-party recoveries.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking, friendly yet competitive card games, and pursuing her creative side, which includes knitting and playing music. Additionally, Sarah serves as the board treasurer of the Trenton Care and Share Food Bank, where she contributes her financial expertise to support the organization’s mission in providing vital resources to the community.
