Rick Godard is a seasoned CFO with more than 30 years of international experience leading finance and operations across manufacturing, distribution, and complex multi-entity organizations. He has held senior finance roles in Canada, the United Kingdom, Barbados, and the United States, supporting both entrepreneurial SMEs and large-scale corporate environments through growth, transformation, and operational change.

Rick brings a strong manufacturing lens to his work, with deep expertise in cost control, process improvement, and building resilient financial frameworks that support operational excellence. He has led multi-site finance teams, strengthened internal controls, and delivered meaningful cost savings while improving visibility for decision-makers on the shop floor and in the boardroom.

A committed mentor and team builder, Rick invests in developing internal finance teams to be more capable, confident, and accountable. He works alongside staff to elevate their technical skills, improve processes, and instill stronger financial discipline, ensuring organizations are not just fixed in the moment but set up for long-term success.

In one engagement, he rebuilt a full year of bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, uncovering significant discrepancies and restoring financial integrity for the audit. Rick has extensive experience in system implementations, financial reporting design, and supporting organizations through change, including startup environments and international expansions. He has also led large-scale consolidation efforts, including the first-time audit of a company with over 40 global entities.
