James McDonald
James McDonald is a Financial Analyst with a strong foundation in both public accounting and industry finance. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Finance from McMaster University.
James began his career in public accounting, where he gained experience across compilation, review, and audit engagements for a diverse range of organizations, including both for-profit and not-for-profit entities. He also prepared personal, corporate, and charity tax returns, developing a well-rounded understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
He later expanded his experience internationally, working in Australia as a Financial Accountant in the engineering sector. In this role, he focused on internal accounting processes and month-end reporting, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
Outside of work, James enjoys attending live concerts and listening to music. He is also a dedicated volunteer, having spent over a decade as a water ski and wakeboard instructor at Pleasant Bay Children’s Camp.
