Tim’s private-sector foundation was built in a top-tier global consumer goods company, where he held progressive roles in finance and operations. As Controller for multiple manufacturing sites, he led all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, capital investment review, internal controls, and risk management. He has led major improvements in financial reporting, automated core processes, assessed internal controls and accounting practices, and advised Executive Directors and boards on risk and leadership development. His ability to simplify complex financial information and implement effective reporting tools has helped executive teams and boards make informed, timely decisions.

Tim is also an experienced board member and past Chair of a Children’s Aid Society, where he helped guide strategic direction and governance during a time of organizational transition.
