Ashley Mapfumo

Ashley Mapfumo is a Junior Financial Analyst with a strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement. She holds an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Africa University and is currently completing the Master of Management Program at Trent University.

Ashley brings hands on experience from roles in the energy and regulatory sectors. As an Assistant Accountant, she supported monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, audit preparation, and tax compliance, while analyzing account variances to strengthen management reporting and internal controls. In a subsequent role as an Accounts Payable Supervisor, Ashley managed high-volume invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, accruals, and expense coding, working closely with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys exploring new fitness routines, reading, and spending time with her family. She is also actively involved in volunteer initiatives at Trent University, supporting student engagement, academic programs, and community-building activities.
